Thanks for this interview. Amazing all Zuckerberg has accomplished and how much more is possible. Still, I am concerned hearing how he emphasizes memes and funny things on the internet as some sort of future balm. While that stuff is great and fun, the whole orientation around his discussion of it (“life is about cool stuff”) feels a bit like the bubble has flown very far away from the reality that most humans are living. How can this be avoided? How can someone like Zuck reconnect with real care?
At first I used to think I would rather die with myself respect then live as a coward every day of my life which is true these people are not cowards they're demonic they are evil forces this is no longer up versus down this is light versus darkness and hopefully as all the movies play I always play light always wins over darkness may God be with us in Jesus name I commanded to cast out the evil that is upon us
Doing Llama open-source feels, dare I say … noble? Surely Meta would make more $ with it closed and also it would be easier and faster. But having all the clout and coin of Meta makes it possible to really double down on this and lead the way in open-source LLM. Impressive.
